I am embarrassed at how late this is (4 months, yikes!), but I knew it was something I still wanted to document on the blog. So, here it is...my baby big boy turning four!
Eli wanted a Ninja Turtles birthday party this year, so that's what we did! We also had his party at a local indoor playground.
It was definitely the most low-key party we've ever had. The kids ran around the whole time, entertaining themselves!
A little pre-party fun.
Sweet Kollyns
Eli's buddy, Brentley, or as he calls her, Brent Brent
Sweet friends
What kid wouldn't love this place?!
Landy was probably the only kid not having fun at the party!
Mommy tried to cheer Landy up with a trip down slide. He was unimpressed.
Sweet ninja friends
He's got that ninja look nailed down!
Columbus Corner Bakery is always our favorite for cakes. They outdid themselves!
Every. single. one. of my cake pictures my grandmother is photo-bombing. Every single one. : )
Eli boo-hoo'd, embarrasingly loudly, when it came time for cake.
Haha, it was pitiful. I was the "mean mommy" that made him open presents and have cake instead of rushing off to play again.
Sadly, we had a fork mishap and there were none. Guests had to eat cake with their fingers. Oops.
This year was definitely the year of the ninja turtle. I think every single gift had to do with ninja turtles. Eli loved it! And even though it's four months later, the turtle hype has not dissipated.
Going to bed for the last time as a three year old!
Eli awoke to find his room decorated for his birthday!
Seeing how much we've grown over the past six months!
On Eli's actual birthday, he took cupcakes and snacks to share with his friends at school.
Obviously he loves being sung to. *Drama king*
Eli you are growing up much too quickly, but you are such a joy to watch! We are so thankful that God chose us to be your mommy and daddy. We love you and are so proud of you! You will always be our Squirmy Bug!
